VINTAGE BIBLE VERSE PAINTED on GLASS WALL or WINDOW HANGING - ROMANS 8:28

Description

This is a lovely GLASS PLAQUE with a BIBLE VERSE FROM ROMANS (8:28) HAND PAINTED on the FRONT, ACCENTED by a BUNCH of HAND PAINTED FLOWERS. A thin, chain-type edging surrounds this 10.25” by 4.25” plaque and a wire is attached on the back for hanging, which could easily be removed, if desired. The reverse side of the glass is painted black, while the flowers and Bible verse are painted on the front.
In Ohio, I’ve seen these handmade pieces sold in stores catering almost exclusively to Amish people.
I own two similar plaques that I purchased in Holmes County more than 30 years ago.
IMPORTANT
: The black paint on the reverse side of the glass has been touched up in a couple of places. The glass itself also has a few imperfections. However, this is a beautiful piece and when displayed, looks very good. Please see all photos for details!
